That Blazer Tho...

I have been on the hunt for a blazer like this for some time. I found a few online but they weren't really hitting the mark.  When it comes to pieces like this, they really need to be done well or else they can look cheap.  I wanted a showpiece that would steal the show in any setting. I came across this caplet on Eloquii's website and I knew the quality would be superior, so I gave it a try.  Boy I'm glad I did! This Capelet is everything! It can be dressed up or down and is totally on trend.  Eloquii always manages to offer the most up to date plus size trends while they are still relevant.  Many plus size retailers are late to the game leaving a void in the marketplace when hot trends sweep the fashion world.  I have to say after buying this blazer in black, I now want it in every color! Totally recommend!

I paired this blazer with a striped pencil skirt.  The way I balance my outfits is to wear one fitted piece and a looser piece. In this look the cape makes me look broader on top, so I streamlined the bottom with a pencil skirt. Balancing your body is important when you want to accentuate your curves.

Underneath the blazer I'm wearing a textured mock turtle neck (once again). I added a red pump for a pop of color. This outfit would look an awesome with any color heel. I kind of wish I had hot pink! To finish up the outfit I added my favorite statement necklace from Bauble Bar (shocker).
