Dressed to the Max

This is another great find from Catherine's. Finding clothing as a petite plus size woman is often very difficult. I can usually make pieces work, but I definitely struggle with maxi dresses. When I saw petite maxi dresses online I had to buy one to try it out. 

I love the detailing on this dress. The length is perfect. I love that it doesn't touch the ground. I walk a lot around these NYC streets, and a dress that drags will be a dress that doesn't last. The crochet detailing is very summery, and I love the drawstring detailing. It's a real drawstring so you can cinch in as necessary. 

I paired this outfit with bold earrings that have tribal influence. I love the pop of red. Since this is such a summer dress I opted for silver metallic sandals to keep it casual.
