The Perfect Fit

Online shopping can be tough as a plus size woman.  After years of trial and error I generally know what will look good on my body. Some styles will never look good on me (oh shift dresses!  I love you, but you hate me!).  Truth be told online shopping is a fat girl's best friend.  There is more variety and trendy pieces through online vendors that you rarely see in brick and mortar stores.  It can be daunting, but get familiar with the silhouettes that work for your body.

I was shopping on LaneBryant.com and saw this beautiful black and white maxi dress.  It was really pricey.  I had it sitting in my shopping cart as I debated, but ultimately decided against it.  I hate paying retail for anything in my life. LB especially because they have 50% off sales pretty frequently.  I moved on...or so I thought!  

I was shopping in a Lane Bryant store and they had this dress available in my size. I had to try it on!  All I have to say is gurllllll yasss **snap snap**.  It fit every curve of my body like it was made for me.  I feel so sexy and invisible in this dress.  I am a big fan of bold prints, especially for summer.   I can't wait for my summer tan, some nice sandals and this dress.  I would wear this dress to work with a camisole underneath, or out for dinner with some nice open toe heels.  Since the dress is so bold it doesn't need any accessories.  I love wearing prints because it makes getting dressed so much easier.  Instead of fussing with accessories, the dress is the statement!
