Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Having staple pieces in a wardrobe is key to being able to mix and match to create different outfits.  In my opinion a jean shirt and a leather skirt are staple pieces that would be great to have on hand.  I have worn both of these pieces in different posts, but styled them completely differently.  Both pieces are multi functional and can be styled to fit your mood or occasion.

In this look I am wearing my favorite jean shirt and leather skirt from Lane Bryant.  The shirt is actually a couple years old. I seem to break this out every season.  In the summer I wear it with white pants or maxi dresses, and in the fall with scarves or under sweaters.  As for the skirt, this is a new piece this season but will definitely serve me for years to come.  I wanted to keep this look casual so I threw on a pair of beat up slip on sneakers.  Totally comfortable and wearable.  I added a pop of color with a brightly colored necklace to finish up this look.
