Grease Lightning!

Ok, so this outfit is serving me straight Olivia Newton John in Grease, but I couldn't help myself.  I recently purchased this fabulous leather jacket from Lane Bryant.

First off, can we chat for a minute about how impossible it is to find plus size leather jackets?  I have been on the hunt for literally years.  I know the revolution of faux leather and vegan leather is the latest fad, but personally I like to buy quality staple pieces.  I can't justify spending $$ on a faux piece that won't last nearly as long as the real deal.  I was eyeing this jacket at Lane Bryant for months.  The original retail price was too rich for my blood so I waited, and waited...and waited.  Finally the price dropped so dramatically I had to snatch it.  I'm so glad I did.  This jacket fits beautifully and the leather is so buttery soft.  The side panels have some stretch so it makes the fit that much better.  I will definitely have this jacket for years to come. 

I paired this moto jacket with a black chiffon high low top from Fashion to Figure.  I actually got this top at a FTF sample sale for $5.  Can't beat that!  I couldn't find the exact top online, but this top is similar.  The black pants I'm wearing are a staple in my closet.  These are my absolute favorite pants from Torrid.  They fit like a glove and they come in various lengths.  Being only 5'1 it helps (and is gladly welcomed) when retailers offer plus size in specialty lengths.

 Lastly, I added a pop of color on my lips and shoes to give this outfit a bit of an edge.  The chain necklace doesn't hurt either!  Let me know what you guys think!
