Denim on Denim

I can't help but feel totally 90's when I wear denim on denim.  It is a trend that has definitely come back, and I have to say I don't hate it.  It's not for everyone, but I think if done correctly it can be cute.  A lot of celebrities have been rocking this look lately so I figured, why not!

In this outfit I paired some skinny jeans with a denim shirt.  I like that the washes are slightly different to give it some variation.  To break up this denim uniform, I threw on an oversized cocoon sweater.  I absolutely love sweaters like this one, and I tend to live in these in the winter time.  It adds a trendy element to this basic look.  I added a pop of color/interest with some red pumps to complete the look.  Basic, easy, comfortable. The best part of this look is that you can use it with pieces you already own! Let me know what you guys think!
