Summer Lookbook Featuring Swak Designs
I teamed up with Swak Designs to bring you guys an awesome summer lookbook. If you haven't heard of them they are an online plus size clothing retailer. They have really cute clothes at affordable price points.
When I was looking through their summer collection I wanted to pick pieces that would be versatile throughout the season. You know I love functional fashion! Swak Designs had some greats pieces to pick from, and as you will see I went out of my comfort zone and opted for bright bold colors.
My first look is by far my favorite! The Valerie Maxi Dress in emerald green is giving me life! The color is an absolute show stopper. This dress is made out of super comfy lightweight fabric which is great for those summer months. I will say this dress runs extremely large. I am wearing a 2x and definitely could have sized down. I love the draw string which drapes the fabric beautifully and cinches in my waist. All I did was add a statement necklace and a pair of comfy sandals and I was ready to go!
My second look is giving me nautical Cape Cod vibes. The Ashley Cardigan is perfect for the summer months. Whether you need something to throw on for a cool evening, or just like more coverage this cardigan is a great option. It is light weight enough to wear in the summer months and super comfy. This was true to size and I loved the fit. The waterfall draping conceals while also giving a stylish look.
My last look is total downtown boho. The Brooke Tank Top features a shark bite hem and criss cross detailing on the back. This top is perfect for those days you just want to wear something loose and flowy. I paired it with some soft pants and tucked in the front of the shirt to bring in my waist. Can we discuss this color for a second? I am in love with this saturated purple color. It is truly beautiful, and is the perfect statement in this look. This outfit reads effortless chic which I love.
