Who doesn't love Jennifer Lopez.  She's a woman who celebrates her curves, and doesn't apologize for her body. Always flawless on the red carpet or dodging paparazzi she is a true fashion icon.  

I chose this look in particular because it is completely wearable.  It is not overly accessorized and can be worn for day or night.  Duel purpose outfits really fits my lifestyle.  I could wear something like this (minus the shoes) to work and then out for drinks or happy hour.  Functional fashion is a must!

In this look I am wearing a simple cream sweater with gold metallic threading from JCPenny.  On the bottom I am wearing my beloved City Chic faux leather pants. I was eyeing these pants for such a long time.  I walked into Macy's and I was stunned when I saw them half off! I was beyond thrilled, and I clearly had to have them!  I like to buy clothing and accessories that fit my style. I kept the hoops more dainty instead of a statement piece like JLo. These were half off at Strawberry which was a steal!  I already owned the shoes, but you could pair this with any platform heel you already own.

A little inside tip. When it comes to big box retailers such as Macys, L&T and JCP more often than not you are going to get the better deal shopping in the store.  Usually the website, while under the same store name, is run completely separate and therefore doesn't have the same pricing structure.  As an example the City Chic pants I bought for $42.00 in store was full price online.

Total spent on this outfit was $60.  Sweater 20.00/ Pants $42.00/ Hoops $2.50.
