Jan 15 All Black Everything

I have a confession. I love black on black and I probably wear it several times a week. You will see a trend in my blog of head to toe black because I find it so chic, and you know, "New York". There are tons of ways you can style monochromatic looks. The key is to have different textures and fabrics to make the outfit standout. Chiffon, lace, and leather are a few of the different fabrics I like to style together. You really can't go wrong, so play around with it!

In this look I wanted to go edgy, but still very feminine. I am wearing a mock sleeveless turtle neck with some detailed ribbing and a faux leather midi skirt. To heighten the edge factor I added this peep toe bootie with cut out sides. These shoes are so comfortable and I can wear them all night without my feet hurting. Being plus size that can be a challenge...but that's another blog post! As usual I have a statement necklace which really softens the outfit just enough.
