Crazy for Caftans
I am in love with a caftan as a cover-up! When I am on vacation, or go to the beach I love long flowy caftans. They are the perfect accessory to any bathing suit. Let's be real, plus size bathing suits can be expensive. The best way to accessorize is with colorful cover-ups. I think that cover-ups should do just that... cover up. A lot of the time cover-ups are so short or sheer that they really serve no purpose. I want to be able to put on something that will shield the sun, but still be able to move freely without a care.
I have been looking for caftans for quite sometime. I saw a bunch in Marshall's, but the one size fits most... didn't. On a whim I was shopping with my sister-in-law and we decided to stop at Burlington Coat Factory. I have never been in there before so I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by their plus size section. They had lots of options and even formal wear in plus size! I saw these caftans on a rack on the side of the store and thought I would try. These again are "one size", but they fit! The best part was these little gems were only $10 each! I was completely thrilled and had to show restraint to not buy all the colors! Total win!
